Alaninates are anionic surfactants based on L alanine with excellent mildness to skin and scalp They thicken with amphoterics and salt and provides rich foam at pH > 6 These surfactants are ideal for facial washes and shampoos, high pH fatty acid soap formulations, high salt containing shampoos
